The art that tugged at my heartstrings and made me feel. Primarily, art created by hands whose stories are about making something from nothing. Who went down paths no one had gone down before. Who defied the odds. Who pivoted. Who found themselves again through their work. Who ignored the voices of people determined to keep the status quo. Who reminded me what it's like to play. To experiment.
