I was intending on waiting to start the National Park Yarn Club until March 2020, but with everything currently happening in Australia I truly felt like I couldn't wait any longer. Therefore, I bring you the first month of the National Park Yarn Club: Flinders Ranges National Park in Australia.
My heart is so desperately hurting for all of the people, wildlife, and land suffering immensely from the awful fires burning through Australia right now (and for the past several months). I feel so helpless when I see such devastating things like this happening, but I want to try and do any small thing that I can to try and make a difference. The first month of the National Park Yarn Club will open today and 50% of the proceeds will be going directly to the NSW Rural Fire Service (@nswrfs).
I will personally match the amount raised tonight, because Zach and I feel so strongly about this issue and the many incidents along the way that have led to the tragedies such as this happening right now all over the world. I’ll leave the listing up until we sell out, and hope that you’ll be patient with me to get yarn out by the first week of February rather than the end of this month as this was quite unplanned!
The colorway will be based on the inspiration photo shown here of this beautiful national park!
