Bad Idea Blouse Kit (PREORDER!)

Wildly versatile with a "choose your own adventure" type of pattern, our favorite version of the Bad Idea Blouse is short sleeved pink perfection knit with 2 strands of Suri held together to create a gorgeously airy fabric light enough to float away like a bubble on the wind🫧 💖

The Bad Idea Blouse is knit top down and can be tailored to your personal taste. Short-sleeved, long-sleeved, cropped or not, this pattern can also be knit with a single strand of lace, 2 strands of lace held together, or even a single strand of fingering weight yarn! We opted for 2 strands of Suri Alpaca Lace held together to create a short-sleeved version. This kit will include the required Suri yardage for the long-sleeved version to give you the flexibility to choose which style suits you best! Feel free to order more, less, or different yarn à la carte if you're being called in a different direction!

Sample shown is Size 2 on a 34" / 86 cm bust with 8" / 20 cm of positive ease

Recommended Ease: 9-13" / 23-33 cm of positive ease around the bust is included in the pattern sizing, but no specific ease is recommended so feel free to choose what works best for you!

Lacey Williamson, the designer, has been kind enough to make the Bad Idea Blouse pattern downloadable for free on Ravelry which you can do here! It will not be included in the kit. Make sure to give Lacey some love for the free pattern! 

Important Note: all yarn is dyed in fairly small batches - meaning that each skein, while using the same dye recipe, will be slightly unique due to the nature of my dyeing process. additionally, while I do my best to make sure the photo matches the actual skeins, color may vary slightly from screen to screen (phone, computer. etc.)
