The Simultaneous Sweater is a blast to make and sure to turn heads!🤩 A tantalizing opportunity for color play resulting in a one-of-a-kind piece, Simultaneous is inspired by a vintage ski hat found in the back of a closet. The name is a little nod to ALL the things knitters track ALL at once while working on projects.📝🧶 It’s also a reference to simultaneous contrast color theory; it is the perfect project is to explore color relationships and how colors shift based on what colors are nearby.🌈✨

The Simultaneous Sweater is a top down knit worked in four colors. This project is an opportunity to explore how colors affect each other when placed side by side. The sweater features compound raglan shaping, a striped all over colorwork pattern and unique angled sleeve shaping. The colorwork is mostly worked in the round, but there are some short rows at the beginning of the pattern that are worked flat.

Sample shown is size 2 on a 35” bust with 2” of positive ease.

In order to make sure Megan Monroe, the designer, receives all proceeds for their work, you can purchase the Simultaneous Sweater now on Ravelry! It will not be included in the kit.

Important Note: all yarn is dyed in fairly small batches - meaning that each skein, while using the same dye recipe, will be slightly unique due to the nature of my dyeing process. additionally, while I do my best to make sure the photo matches the actual skeins, color may vary slightly from screen to screen (phone, computer. etc.)
